Time to Lug Those Textbooks Around Again… or not?

Book Saver Scanner
Ion Book Saver

Scan your textbooks instead of lugging them around?  For around 149 dollars this nifty device can help you scan textbooks into a digital format.  Watch the video to see how it works:  http://www.gizmag.com/book-saver-scanner-from-ion-unveiled/17532/  Some obvious issues:
Size – where do you put it when you are finished with it?
Format – does it output in a way that I can highlight and take notes on? I still read paper books but have converted to digital articles that I can highlight and take notes on using Acrobat Professional
